Why I Joined Rotary:
I joined the Rotary Club of New Berlin because I was looking for a group that allowed myself and my two sons to give back to the community and the world. I grew up in New Berlin and was taught by my parents the importance of helping others and giving back when you can. I wanted to instill these same values in my sons. We lived in Kenya for 2 years before moving back to New Berlin and we were able to see the world from a different point of view. When I learned about Rotary's mission, my interest was peaked. When I read about their 6 areas of focus: promoting peace, fighting disease, providing clean water/sanitation/hygiene, saving mothers and children, supporting education, and growing local economies; I knew that Rotary was the club for us. The laid back atmosphere and family friendly environment of the New Berlin Club has been the perfect fit for my family.
About Me:
I grew up in New Berlin, but my prior career in post-secondary education allowed me to experience our diverse country living in Phoenix, Philadelphia, and Dallas. Having lived all over the United States and then two years in Kenya, I developed an appreciation for how great a place New Berlin is to live and raise a family.
I am a Wealth Management Advisor with Du Charme Wealth Management. My office is located in the Keller Williams Building, on the northwest corner of Moorland and Cleveland in New Berlin. I enjoy helping people be able to live financially confident and secure, knowing that they are on track to reach their financial goals, and that they are prepared for whatever life may throw at them.
